Meet Enduro Power, the brainchild of Harrison Smiddy, our founder and CEO.
He’s equal parts technology geek and dedicated outdoorsman, a combination that became invaluable when he noticed a gaping hole in the LiFePO4 Deep Cycle battery market while outfitting his own rig to go off-grid
An avid outdoorsman for life, with a decade of experience in the battery industry, Harrison is passionate about developing the best possible batteries without breaking the bank. As an RV owner himself, he is no stranger to adventures that require endurance and optimal power. His interest in the construction of batteries and electronics began when he was just a boy — from building battery packs for remote control cars to wiring up 12VDC model train tracks or competition level car audio systems.
This passion mixed with a whatever-it-takes attitude propelled him into 20+ years of working directly with consumers to bring only the greatest products out there. Harrison’s professional background includes two decades of consumer-packaged goods manufacturing and product development, including invaluable time with one of the world’s leading battery manufacturers. Harrison’s trained eye quickly realized the consumers in the deep cycle lithium iron phosphate battery space deserved a better option, so he went to work developing Enduro Power and committed to helping his customers buy with confidence:
